we have no time to stand and stare- 5 spring Tips!

As Wordsworth says, what is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare. It’s spring you’all

SPRING Yeah!!!!

  • is upon us, Plants inside are showing new blooms
  • we have longer days with sunlight
  • daylight savings time has gone!

My daughter was asking me today how’s the grey hair count. I loved the question
It’s looking like being confined to your own family bubble is not going away too soon. We have to find some ways to stand and stare in anticipation of better times!!!
This situation brings some unique realities that maybe we never had to face before.

Like:
We are each unique with our own little idiosyncrasies.
Whether we were or were not aware of these quirks, we had in the past found a way not to notice them.

It hasn’t been so easy to leave the house for whatever reason.
And then it wasn’t so easy to get someone to drop in for what ever reason!

Did you have to change your bathroom habits , your eating schedule, etc. etc. your gaming habits?

And so it goes on………

It seems to me the stress of adaptation is a real one for all of us , especially middle class and working women.

The time to stand and stare!
Is it okay if I make a few suggestions as we move forward into SPRING and SUMMER?
Just think about those that apply to you. Our life situations are so different after Covid.

  • Try to get outside if even for 15 mins each day, The fresh air make your lungs feel like breathing
  • Actively think about the changes you have made in your home in terms of physical changes and behavioral changes. If you could do this with someone who is in or outside your bubble, it will allow you to speak out loud what those changes were
  • identify how you feel about them
  • acknowledge areas of stress

This is how we best stand and stare….

Doing this can be very freeing and it can be very stressful. Don’t rush this!
