EAW Publications is dedicated to enriching the lives of parents, children, and families. I started out on a journey a number of years ago and I am finally bringing it all together. You will find varying types of writing from parenting books, books for children, stories and other published articles. The site is filled with content to help you (parents and kids) boost self-worth and self-confidence. The more you learn the more you can grow your child’s self-confidence and their overall growth. It has always been a point of discussion in Jamaica. Do we or do we not teach Marcus Garvey’s philosophy as part of the educational curriculum. Well it is now resolved! As of 25th April 2022, twenty Early Childhood Institutions selected from every parish across the island will be embarking on the exciting and historic MGIS [Marcus Garvey In Schools] Pilot project.

Marcus Teaches Us explains the philosophy of Marcus Mosiah Garvey, the internationally well-known, revered Black philosopher. It uses simple language for kids 6-9 years of age. So many activities and stunning information-filled full-color spreads! They bring to life the contributions of other Black influencers and People of Color up to the present.
Eleanor Wint co-authors this children’s biography with a 9 year old who is eloquent and knowledgeable about Marcus Garvey. His name is Annu Yah Kadhi Stewart. He even has his own You Tube channel as “Star Seed Annu Talks”.
Between 1923 and 1940, Garvey influenced leaders and potential leaders of developing countries, to become independent of colonial rule. Garvey’s philosophy is built on racial liberation, self-empowerment and a Black homeland in Africa.
